Shipping

ROOTS RIDER is a trading name of GHRAM LLC. Every order ships from one of our two United States warehouses, in California and in New Jersey. We do not ship from overseas, and there are no import duties or customs charges for you to pay.

Cost

Free standard shipping on all electric bikes within the contiguous United States. Accessories and spare parts also ship free with a bike. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are quoted individually — contact us before ordering.

Processing time

Orders are prepared and handed to the carrier within 3 to 5 business days. You receive a tracking number by email as soon as the shipment leaves the warehouse. 

Spare parts and replacement batteries
Most accessories are held in our United States warehouses and follow the times above. A number of spare parts are sent directly from our parts warehouse outside the United States and take 7 to 14 business days to reach you. Replacement batteries travel under dangerous-goods rules and take 14 to 21 business days.
The applicable delivery time is stated at the top of every product page concerned. These items are dispatched separately and may arrive after the rest of your order. Bikes and United States stock are never delayed by them.

Delivery

Electric bikes weigh 55 to 77 lb and travel as freight. Delivery times vary with your location and the carrier's schedule; the estimate is confirmed when your order is dispatched. Someone must be available to receive the crate.

On delivery

Inspect the carton before you sign. If it is damaged, note it on the carrier's delivery record, photograph it, and email us within 48 hours at ghram.llc@gmail.com. Transit damage reported this way is handled at no cost to you.
